The AeroTech Disposable Motor System DMS is a single-use motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. All of the Aerotech DMS motors use all-disposable components. The nozzle and propellant are already installed.

The G8ST-P is a Plugged/Smoke motor. Plugged reload kits do not utilize a motor-actuated ejection charge. Plugged motors must be used in conjunction with a timer, altimeter or radio-activated recovery system. This motor is great for gliders and Thrust Vector Control rockets with electronic recovery system deployment.

DMS motors feature a filament-wound fiberglass casing, a glass-reinforced composite phenolic nozzle, a molded plastic bulkhead and RCSs exclusive Super Thunder™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a bright violet-blue flame with a minimum of exhaust smoke. Super Thunder™ motors provide a higher ISP than Blue Thunder™.

This AeroTech motor pack comes with 1 rocket motor and 1 FirstFire™ Jr. Initiator. Requires HAZMAT shipping via UPS or FEDEX. The sale of this high power motor to persons under 18 years of age is currently prohibited by federal law. Orders containing this item will not be shipped until proof of age (such as a copy of a driver’s license) is received.

Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).
